Along the counseling, he comes across some issues when he wont conform to the rest of the medical students. He is rattling a good example of an existentialist. He is his own person within a larger society, or the other students at the school. Patch In the hospit al, he found out he loved to help volume. He wanted to listen to people and make them enjoy life. He really found his passion and without the mental hospital, he maybe neer would have. Death is not the enemyindifference is. PatchWhen people are dying, showing care is the most important thing. If they dont know that people care, that makes death so much worse. Everyone is going to cave in someday. Everyone should just enjoy life. As relating to existentialism, Kirkegaard would have thought that Patch was a good example. He was a part of the group, yet he was his own person within that group.
